The Credeaux Canvas

The Story

Set in NYC in the 90s, “The Credeaux Canvas” reveals the often shadowy psyche of aspiring artists. It tells a tale of unwavering dreams and the relentless sacrifices they demand. How long can one pursue a dream before it’s time to give up? Should creative passion be compromised for love?

However, she now eagerly anticipates her transition to her new role as the technical director at Metro Theatre.

Mike Li (he/him, Fight Safety Consultant) hails from Hong Kong, and has been acting in Vancouver since 2011, being cut out of prominent projects such as The Age of Adaline, iZombie, and Netflix’s upcoming already-canceled Grendel. Though never pursuing the stunts department as seriously as he has acting, somehow he has managed to rack up many dozens of stunts and fight safety credits in indie film.

He combines a love of mixed martial arts with a readiness to pass on knowledge he’s picked up through the years working with a variety of professionals through the diverse Vancouver arts communities.

Mike is a high-ranked cult acolyte within sketch comedy group Smashed Potato Kids, and regularly teaches Action-for-Actors at Vancouver Action Training Studio. He ardently refuses to use any variety of AI writing tools to help write things even though it would probably have taken him much less time to do so.
